Currently\, she directs Song of Seattle Chorus in Region #13 and sings bass in Touchstone Quartet. Paula is a certified Expression Judge\, an International Faculty Member and the Leadership Development Specialist for Region #13. She also serves on the International Board of Directors as well as being the Judge Specialist Moderator for the Judge Specialist Committee. She serves on the Leadership Certification Program Task Force. She coaches many different choruses and quartets around our organization as well. Her favorite part of being a Sweet Adeline is getting to know so many wonderful women and to watch both musical skills and personal development skyrocket because of their involvement with this organization. Paula was both a middle school and high school choral director during her time teaching in Texas schools where she taught for 10 years. Her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree are in Music Education. Along with judging in the Expression Category\, she has been involved in a variety of roles at the chapter and regional level\, most currently serving as the Director for The Woodlands Show Chorus and a past Education Coordinator for Great Gulf Coast Region 10.  \nWhile probably best known as a bass throughout Region 10\, she is currently the Lead in Regale\, the 2025 Diamond Division Quartet Champion. \nShe is a happily retired middle school choral director and Assistant Principal\, now enjoying life without a bell schedule. She lives in Tomball\, TX (northwest Houston) with her husband Jeff and 2 dachshunds. She enjoys coaching and supporting the choruses and quartets in her region\, the simplicity of dinner with friends\, catching a baseball game\, and having the flexibility to get up and go when the opportunity arises.
