Get ready to dive into harmony at Summer Splash, coming June 2026 to Houston, Texas! This sizzling barbershop education event is your chance to soak up summer education, boost your vocal skills, and connect with passionate singers from across the region.
Whether you’re singing tags ’til midnight or leveling up your ensemble performance, Summer Splash is where fun meets fabulous barbershop growth.
This event will take place on Friday, June 12th from 6pm-10pm and Saturday, June 13th from 9am-10pm.
Mark your calendars and pack your pitch pipe—this is one splash you won’t want to miss!

SATURDAY MEAL: There will be a lunch buffet available at the hotel for $20+ tax and gratuity. Menu includes: House salad with Ranch or Light Vinaigrette dressing, Penne Pasta with Bolognese or Alfredo sauce, Diced Chicken, Seasonal Fresh Vegetables, Garlic Cheese Bread, Desert and non-alcoholic beverage service. Payment will be made at the hotel restaurant.
A dinner buffet will also be offered at the restaurant on Saturday evening for our convenience.
Note: A limited general restaurant menu will also be available for our members with dietary sensitivities. These menu copies will be available at the registration table. Prices reflect selections chosen. Payment will be made at the restaurant.

COACHING OPPORTUNITIES: Paula will be available for PVIs or Coaching sessions on Friday, June 12th between 10am-1:30pm. All slots are first come, first served.

FACULTY: Paula Davis
Paula Davis is a 37-year member of Sweet Adelines International. Currently, she directs Song of Seattle Chorus in Region #13 and sings bass in Touchstone Quartet. Paula is a certified Expression Judge, an International Faculty Member and the Leadership Development Specialist for Region #13. She also serves on the International Board of Directors as well as being the Judge Specialist Moderator for the Judge Specialist Committee. She serves on the Leadership Certification Program Task Force. She coaches many different choruses and quartets around our organization as well. Her favorite part of being a Sweet Adeline is getting to know so many wonderful women and to watch both musical skills and personal development skyrocket because of their involvement with this organization. Paula was both a middle school and high school choral director during her time teaching in Texas schools where she taught for 10 years. Her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree are in Music Education. Teaching Specialties include: The Expression Category and all of its individual elements, Developing and Equipping Leaders, Selling a Song, Open Division elements (developing scripts, theatrical development, staging, etc.), Breath Energy, Effective Use of Vocal and Physical Warm-upsm Courageous Leadership, Team-Building, and more.
